Welcome to EasyRams, the UK’s only breeders of 100% New Zealand genetically sourced Suffolk, Texel and Sufftex rams. Not only do we breed sheep with 100% NEW ZEALAND genetics, we also fully embrace the philosophy of NZ ram breeders namely that our business is to supply rams guaranteed to increase the profits of our clients and that we produce rams under management systems similar to those our clients use i.e. they eat grass and not concentrates.

We and 180 clients over the last 5 years have discovered that the New Zealand Suffolk and Sufftex are active and robust sheep which thrive on a grass based diet with NO supplementary feed and without melting. EasyRams ability to serve very large numbers of ewes within a single cycle and to live and work for much longer than UK breeds substantially reduces client’s costs.

The wedge shaped lambs are easily born even out of small ewes or ewe lambs and quick to get on their feet and to suckle. Great vigour and good coats makes them ideal for outdoor lambing particularly in the hills and uplands.

The success of our Sufftexes (NZ Texel Sire x NZ Suffolk Dam) since 2009 encouraged us to import Texels direct from New Zealand in 2011 and their first lambs will be for sale this year.
